Her Majesty’s Ship
Paris - France

Her Majesty’s Ship is a Parisian indie label founded in 2012 by David Shaw and Charlotte Decroix as a support for the release of David Shaw and the Beat’s first album, So it Goes. Today, and about 50 releases later, the label has built a strong musical universe around synth wave, post-punk, techno, and indie pop. The roster is made of French and international artists such as Justine Forever, DBFC, La Mverte, S.R. Krebs, Mijo, Yan Wagner, Blaues Einhorn… and, of course, David Shaw himself, responsible for the label’s overall artistic direction. The HMS signature is a subtle blend of Electronic and Rock, between sensual melodies and shamanic rhythms.
Charlotte is also behind Contra, a publishing company she founded in 2015 to work alongside indie artists such as Theodora, Sarah Rebecca, Godzilla Overkill, and Paprika Kinski.
