Alter K is a fully independent Global Music Services company. Its primary business at creation in 2008 was publishing and licensing. Nowadays, Alter K’s catalog is rich with a wide range of indie artists in many different genres; from electronic French Touch 3.0 masters French 79, Kid Francescoli, or NTO, to French rap star Laylow, and girl power icons Sarah Rebecca, Clozee, or Tracy de Sa; among others such as Wax Tailor, DJ Pone, or Yann Tiersen. Not to mention a generous sub-publishing catalog with the likes of Courtney Barnett, BadBadNotGood, Sofi Tukker, Future Island, and Herman Dune.
